Village shop

Garlieston Filling Station now incorporates a shop offering refrigerated and frozen goods. Fresh bread rolls are available from 8:00 am daily (except Sunday) and newspapers are available daily — please order the day before.

Defibrillators

There are two public access defibrillators in the village: 1. Next to the village hall main entrance; and 2. opposite the last house in North Crescent (Extreme Point) below the noticeboard.

In an emergency YOU MUST dial 999. The defibrillator cabinets are unlocked. If the cabinet appears to be locked when attempting access, press the 'C' button on the keybad and retry.

If required, manual CPR should of course be administered at the earliest opportunity.

The defibrillators have been provided by Garlieston, Whithorn and Sorbie FIrst Response and are funded by acts of public generosity and charitable donations.
